Sycamore presents fall musical

SYCAMORE – The Sycamore High School Theater Department presents its fall musical, Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes.”

Welcome aboard the S.S. American, an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin aid Billy in his quest to win Hope. The musical introduced such songs as “Anything Goes,” “You’re the Top,” “I Get a Kick Out of You” and “It’s Delovely.”

The cast includes Dustin King, Paige Harrington, Sara Diemer, Alex Riley, David Boyle, Baylee Mood, Victoria Smith, Tommy Phetmeuangmay, Brigid Crawford, Bridget Johnson, Madelyn Loellke, Laura Knuth, Drew Moulton, Brittany Moudy, Erin Vandeburg, Ashley Finnel, Kailey Munro, Emma Johnson, Emily Flower, Manuela Schreiber, Lindsey Yunker and Sarah Houdek.

Student technical staff includes Brigid Crawford, Samantha Butkis, Jake Pisarski, Jordan Shultz, Izzy Johnson and Cameron Smith.
