Y plans spooky family fun

DeKALB –The Kishwaukee Family YMCA invites the community to an evening of family fun and games at its annual Family Halloween Event presented by Kishwaukee Community Hospital, The Convocation Center, NIU Huskie Athletics and B95-FM on Friday, Oct. 26, at the NIU Convocation Center.

Children and parents are encouraged to wear costumes and play together. The event will offer an array of fun, silly and active games with prizes. The ever-popular haunted house and fear factor room will be open to those looking for a good Halloween scare. The event will also feature sports games, multiple bounce houses, arts and crafts, facepainting and magic shows featuring the talents of Jim Grainger.

Tickets for the event are $1 per person if purchased in advance at the following locations; Kishwaukee Family YMCA, DeKalb Barb City YMCA and the front desk of the Kishwaukee Community Hospital. Tickets purchased at the door the day of the event will be $2 per person. Children 2 and under will not need a ticket to enter the event. There is a limited supply of tickets.
