Help firefighters ‘go pink’

GENOA – The Genoa-Kingston Fire Department is “going pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

Members of the public can buy pink T-shirts to support breast cancer research for $15. Stop by the fire station or talk to any G-K firefighter to place a prepaid order. Orders can also be placed by contacting Erica Carlson at 815-501-9226 or ericac.gkfire@hotmail.com.

Pink shirts will be sold until the end of October.
