Wonderful World of Christmas around the corner

GENOA – It’s not too early to think about holiday gifts for friends and family. The 24th annual Wonderful World of Christmas Craft Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Genoa-Kingston High School, just west of downtown Genoa on Route 72.

With more than 100 crafters and businesses displaying and selling wares, it may be possible to complete your holiday shopping in one day. There will be many new booths.  Vendors come from more than 15 Illinois communities and Wisconsin. Just a few of the items available include American doll clothes, sand art, bowling ball decorations, jewelry, wood crafts, string puppets, wind chimes and holiday decor. Bake sales, food booths and more than 300 grab bag gifts for children and adults will be available as well.

Santa will arrive at 11 a.m. and stay until 1:30 p.m. to hear special wishes.
