Local man hopes to appear on 'Ghost Hunters'

GENOA — Mark Schwabe of Genoa hopes to appear on the popular television show “Ghost Hunters” next week, but he won’t know if producers included his interview until the show airs.

“They interviewed a few of us on the phone, and then they asked me to come over the next day to be interviewed on-camera,” said Schwabe, a member of local paranormal investigation group Ghost Head Soup.

“Ghost Hunters” investigated reports of paranormal activity at the historic Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum and Gardens in Rockford over the summer. After the investigation, producers wanted to compare notes with the experiences of local ghost hunters.
