The Sycamore Lions conducted its annual Candy Day Fundraiser on Sept. 7-8. Members wish to thank all the generous contributors who, again, made this a successful campaign. The funds collected are split between the Lions of Illinois Foundation and the Sycamore Lions Club. The foundation uses its portion to fund 13 statewide services for the sight and hearing impaired. The Sycamore Lions use their portion to supplement their Sight and Hearing Fund. Since chartered in 1948, the club has provided eyeglasses, hearing aids and other devices to local impaired children and adults. Pictured at the club's mobile office are Candy Day Chairman Lion Joe Woodward and Lions Tom Fewell, Al John and Jerry Schultz.
