DeKALB – The League of Women Voters of DeKalb County will present a candidates night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in DeKalb City Council Chambers, 200 S. Fourth St. in DeKalb.

Audience members may submit questions at the door; those wishing to submit questions should plan to arrive a few minutes early. Susan Stephens, news reporter at WNIJ 89.5 FM, will moderate.

The forum will be broadcast live on television, on public access Channel 14 viewable in the DeKalb area. There will also be live video streaming on the Internet at cityofdekalb.com. Candidates for Congress IL-16, State House 70, 23rd Circuit Court Judge, countywide offices, DeKalb County State’s Attorney, Regional Superintendent of Schools, and DeKalb County Board Districts that fall within the public access channel’s viewing area responded to the invitation to attend. Information on upcoming referendums will also be provided.
