DeKALB – Charles G. Brown of Brown Law Group LLC, in DeKalb has been appointed chairman of the trusts and estates section council of the Illinois State Bar Association.

The state bar, with offices in Springfield and Chicago, provides professional services to 33,000 member lawyers and education and services to the public.

“Committee and section council members play a key role in helping the bar association serve its members and the public,” said John E. Thies, 2012-13 president of the association. “These lawyers take time from their busy schedules to help their profession while continuing to serve the needs of their clients.”
