Trophy for over-50 team
A team representing six of the 14 teams in the DeKalb/Sycamore Church Softball League played in the North American Fastpitch Association's 50 and Over Masters World Series in Rockford the weekend of Sept. 8. The team walked away with a third-place trophy, and pitchers Rick Hoyt and Ted Strack were named to the All-Tournament team.
