Historical society meets at farm museum
The Kirkland Historical Society will hold its general meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Denny Rehn’s Farm Museum, 3822 Stone Quarry Road in Belvidere. A potluck supper will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7 p.m.
All are welcome at the meeting. Those attending the supper should bring a dish to pass; table service and beverages will be provided. The program topic is “Early Farming in DeKalb County,” presented by Doug Dashner.
