GENOA – Crosswind Community Church, 13100 Cherry Road in Genoa, invites the public to "The Art of Marriage," a free conference at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16.

Why do so many marriages or relationships fail or fall short? It's simple math. We spend more than 12 years of our lives in school studying how to work at eight-hour jobs, but we spend no time learning how to make a marriage or relationship work the other 16 hours a day. We don't grow smarter without going to class or grow stronger without exercise, so why think our relationships will get better without a little training?

This condensed, three-session DVD event is free and open to the public. Free dinner, free childcare, free materials and a free chance to win a weekend getaway. Matt and Marina Krueger will share their personal testimony and tools they used to restore their marriage from the brink of divorce.
