Irish-American beats take the stage

DeKALB – On Saturday, Sept. 15, Irish-American band Switchback will play the concert everyone will be talking about the next day. The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Egyptian Theatre. Wear green and celebrate the halfway point to St. Patrick’s Day!

Described as American roots with a Celtic soul, Switchback began more than two decades ago through the partnership of Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack. Switchback has opened for Gaelic Storm and The Moody Blues. Winner of the 2008 Irish Music Association’s Top Duo Award, Switchback regularly tours the Midwest, Canada, Ireland and Italy.

Tickets are on sale online at egyptiantheatredekalb.ticketforce.com/. Regular tickets are $19 and $23; discounted tickets are available for students or groups of 10 or more for $17.
