Explore your past with genealogy class

SYCAMORE – “Who am I?”

It’s a very philosophical question, but there are some concrete ways to find answers. One of the most popular ways to explore this topic is by studying genealogy. Genealogy is the most common reason people visit many historical societies and research libraries. Through this research, you can validate family stories, find out if you are related to someone famous, better understand your family traditions, reconnect with other family members and even satisfy your curiosity – or sometimes create new questions.

On Wednesday, Sept. 12, Julie Dresser will begin leading a six-week class that will provide hints, tips and tricks for genealogists.
