Junior golfers don't mind a little heat

SYCAMORE — You could see it on their faces as they came in off the course – faces lined with sweat, reddened, sometimes worn out.

“The heat makes you tired so it’s hard to swing the club,” said Keegan White, 13, of Sycamore, after finishing his final round of golf at the annual Al Wildenradt Junior Championship last Wednesday, July 25, at the Sycamore Golf Course.

“It definitely (affects you) after awhile,” Troy Krueger, a recent Kaneland High School graduate, said.
