Open house for potential Huskies
DeKALB – Northern Illinois University is hosting an open house Thursday, July 26, to help prospective freshmen and transfer students find the right fit.
“The open house is a perfect opportunity to explore not only what’s new at NIU, but also the world of opportunity that awaits students in terms of academic and social development,” said Kimberley Buster-Williams, NIU’s director of undergraduate admissions. “We invite students to campus to see for themselves all NIU has to offer.”
A new residential complex is expected to open for the fall 2012 semester. In addition to the new construction and a multimillion dollar renovation of existing facilities, a new intramural athletic field complex and new, state-of-the-art classrooms, lecture halls and computer labs will dramatically improve student life.
