Senior fair packed with providers

SYCAMORE – Senior citizens and their caregivers can gather a lot of information quickly and conveniently at the annual Senior Health Fair on Thursday, July 26 at DeKalb High School, 501 W. Dresser Road in DeKalb. There will be more than 65 state and local service providers and free health screenings available from 9 a.m. to noon.

The fair is sponsored by state Rep. Robert Pritchard, R-Hinckley, Sen. Christine Johnson, R-Shabbona and the Family Service Agency’s Senior Services Center with assistance from the Voluntary Action Center.

Attendees can connect with service providers with information about financial, medical, assisted living, security and legal issues.
