The Tribute to Heroes committee is seeking nominees from all over DeKalb County for this year’s awards.

Each year, the committee honors four “heroes” for their efforts to support DeKalb County. The award recognizes members of DeKalb County communities who have dedicated themselves to community service and to the welfare and development of local youth.

The award is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America Three Fires Council. Leadership, citizenship and helping others are important qualities that the Boy Scouts of America instill in its youth and looks for in adult leaders.
