Family Fun Day at the Sycamore History Museum
SYCAMORE – Six members of the DeKalb County Liners baseball team spent part of their Saturday afternoon at the Sycamore History Museum.
“The Liners is not just about these guys and baseball, it’s for the community,” said Garrett Jones, assistant general manager for the team.
The players played catch and whiffle ball with children at the event, and then enjoyed pink lemonade and cookies as they signed autographs for the young fans and talked about baseball. Some children got temporary Liners tattoos and junior docents gave guided tours of the museum and gardens.
