SYCAMORE – Enjoy a weekend of old-fashioned fun at Old North Grove School June 23 and 24, when the one-room schoolhouse will host its annual open house.

The restored and furnished schoolhouse, at 26745 Brickville Road in Sycamore, will be open from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., Saturday, June 23 and from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 24.

The fifth annual open house will celebrate the property listing on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. Dedication of a plaque commemorating the honor will be at 1 p.m., June 23.
