Outstanding staff receive awards
DeKALB — Four members of Northern Illinois University’s operating staff have received the Outstanding Service Award for 2012.
The recipients are Kenlyn Bialas, Lincoln Fox, Brenda Jones and Kelly Stewart. Each year, four of the nearly 1,650 people employed in the civil service staff are selected by a committee of their peers to receive plaques and $1,500.
Bialas is the office manager of ACCESS. ACCESS Director Shevawn Eaton called her “professional and pleasant way of working with people” impressive.
