American Cancer Society Relay for Life
DeKALB – If slogans, signs and enthusiasm were enough, cancer wouldn't have a chance.
"Create a world with less cancer and more birthdays," read one sign at DeKalb County's 16th annual Relay for Life last weekend. The relay was held from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday at DeKalb High School.
"When we walk together, we are bigger than cancer," one speaker told the large crowd during the opening ceremonies.
