Art show returns to courthouse
SYCAMORE – The Northern Illinois Art Show returns to the DeKalb County Courthouse lawn in Sycamore June 2 and 3. About 50 artists and crafters will show and sell their work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday.
This is the 41st annual show. Last year’s show was in the city parking lot due to courthouse construction; this year the show returns to its traditional home. There is no admission. Food and drinks will be available.
New to this year’s show is a raffle of works by members of the Kishwaukee Valley Art League. At least 13 pieces will be raffled. And after an absence of several years, the Kishwaukee Woodcarvers return for woodcarving demonstrations both days. At press time, the following artists planned to have booths:
