Farmer wins cash for Indian Creek
SHABBONA — Indian Creek Education Foundation recently received a grant to sustain plans for improvement from America’s Farmers Grow CommunitiesSM.
Grow Communities gives farmers the opportunity to win $2,500 for their favorite local nonprofit organizations. Harold Erlenbach was the winning farmer in DeKalb County. He directed his donation to the Indian Creek Education Foundation.
“We have a great education system and like so many others, they can really use the money,” he said.
