Holstine promoted to lieutenant colonel
William R. Holstine has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army.
Holstine is the director of exercises assigned to the 416th Theater Engineer Command at Darien. The new lieutenant colonel has served in the military for 28 years.
Holstine graduated in 1984 from Hinckley-Big Rock High School and received a bachelor’s degree in 1992 from Northern Illinois University.
