DeKALB – Children ages 7 to 18 can still register for the Huskie Track Club through May 25.
The Huskie Track Club is dedicated to advancing track and field among youth in DeKalb County and surrounding communities. Practices will be held daily Monday through Friday.
Each athlete and his or her family will determine a personal practice schedule based on coaches’ recommendations.
Practices will be conducted in the evening from May 21 through June 1 and in the morning from June 4 through July 20 at Huntley Middle School. Optional track meets are usually held on Saturdays from about 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m.
Registration is $95 for the first child, and $85 for each additional child from the same household. A $15 team jersey deposit is required and will be refunded when the jersey is returned. A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required for all new members.
