On the record ... with Brian Regan

Brian Regan has been touring more or less his entire adult life.

The comedian started in comedy clubs and worked his way up to larger venues. He has performed in at least 80 cities every year since 2005. Two years ago, he broke the record for the most consecutive shows by a comedian at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City with five sold-out performances; the previous record of four shows had been set by Jerry Seinfeld, one of the comics Regan said he most admires.

The funnyman known for his clean style and relatable anecdotes about the little absurdities in everyday life will bring his act to the Egyptian Theatre on April 29. Tickets are $37.50 and are available at the Egyptian box office or at www.egyptiantheatre.org.
