125 YEARS AGO

April 27, 1887
Remember that a company of orphan children, mostly boys, from the New York Juvenile Asylum will be at the Ward House on Saturday of this week. Homes are wanted for them in families where they will receive kind treatment and enjoy advantages.

Sycamore today is on a footing with its neighbors that have more than one line of railroad between the grand Northwest and Chicago. Today we are on two as good railroads as any out of Chicago.
