My kindergartener, who was hoping to get a rise out of me, threatened the other day to run away.
Refusing to take the bait, I mildly asked him where he would go.
“I would live in a different house with a different mom and dad,” he said.
I asked him what house, and where he would find a mom and dad who loved him as much as we did and treated him as nicely.
