The Station is on the move to a more favorable dial position, 1180 AM. Listeners can be assured however, that there is no change in focus for the programming of WSQR according to owner, Larry Nelson, "We try to serve local communities with local needs, the day in and day out things that affect people's lives, we cover those. And that is our goal," Nelson said, "We decided our motto in operating radio stations is all about community." Nelson operates WSQR on the belief that the voices of the community need to be heard and served and commented that the biggest advantage to the move is the clearer and cleaner reception for listeners in the Sycamore area, in addition, listeners can enjoy the station with greater reception at further distances as they travel the northern Illinois region.
