Night of stories to benefit Neighbors’ House

Local author Kyle L. White will share humorous and reflective stories during “A Winter Evening Together,” a benefit for Neighbors’ House, a DeKalb County nonprofit.

The evening will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, in The Freight Room at the DeKalb County Community Foundation, 475 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore.

White's first book, "Wisconsin River of Grace" (Cornerstone Press, 2009), was chosen for Northern Public Radio’s Winter Book Series. And, "Neighbor As Yourself" (2016) was featured in Northern Public Radio’s #ReadWithMe series.

The event will raise funds for Neighbors’ House, a local nonprofit providing reading and homework help in income-eligible housing communities in DeKalb County since 2003. For information, visit NeighborsHouse.org.

The cost for the evening is a donation of any amount to Neighbors’ House. All forms of payment are accepted.
