DeKalb County has announced its new new voting website will be live on Jan. 15. The website will allow county residents to check their voter registration status, according to a DeKalb County news release.
The website, voteranow.com, will allow DeKalb County residents to register to vote, check for a list of early voting centers, find where they can vote and register to vote in person.
It also will provide links to the DeKalb County elections website, where residents can receive information directly from the county about a disabled voter program, health care facility voting and information about future elections.
The voting website also provides information and a direct link to the Illinois State Board of Elections website, move.elections.il.gov, which offers information for those who want to set up an Illinois Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act account. The site allows both uniformed active duty U.S. military service members or U.S. citizens living outside the country and its territories for work, school or other reasons to register to vote.
